  1. Annual production of the Community Performance Report, which monitors and analyses a variety of quality of life indicators in the community, and establishes benchmarks for success.
    1. Where the report indicates a low quality of life (based on the benchmarks), CQI engages those agencies involved in that aspect of the community to work on improvements
    2. Where the report indicates a high quality of life (based on the benchmarks), CQI publicizes these successes throughout the community at large
  2. Delivery of professional development programs focused on improving quality of life for employees, volunteers and/or the community at large.

This is accomplished utilizing the following resources:

1. Human Resources:
  1. Quality Leadership Team
  2. Standing and ad hoc committees
  3. Professional staff
  4. Membership (known as the Quality Circle)
  5. Active engagement with community agencies whose mandates reflect quality of life improvement – City, APH, Sault Area Hospitals United Way/SDC, ADSB, HSCDSB just to name a few.
