As a follow-up to the Kids!st Conference, the Best for Kids Committee hosted Dr. Umesh Jain on November 19th for a free Community Forum. Dr. Jain is a child and adolescent psychiatrist who is a nationally recognized expert in Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and in psychopharmacology. His research interests also include the genetics of ADHD and impulsive personality disorders. There were well over 300 people in attendance. Our thanks to Algoma's Water Tower Inn and all the volunteers on the Best For Kids Committee.

Early Childhood Development Conference
The conference was a great success. The expert presentaters left all delegates with a wealth of information. Thanks to the wonderful local businesses and organizations for monetary and in kind sponsorship.

The goal of the conference is to educate, motivate and foster change and improvement in our community to benefit our children; our future.
Several expert speakers will be attending the conference to address child development issues. these speakers will make presentations to the entire group, as well as within smaller workshop settings.
