Attending the “Introduction to Process Mapping” course presented by NQI and hosted by CQI was an excellent opportunity for me to update and refresh my knowledge around Process Improvement. I have been involved in numerous process improvement activities throughout my career and have seen the benefits that process mapping can bring to a continuous quality improvement environment. The program not only provided me with an opportunity to reinforce my knowledge around process mapping but also provided new information and methodology. It allowed me to be reenergized in bringing this methodology back to my new place of employment for implementation. The course presentation was excellent and for the first time presented through a web based portal, which removed the northern isolation factor and allowed an educational opportunity to proceed for a small group of professionals in our community. I look forward to attending future NQI courses.
