Solving Workplace Problems teaches a five-step process that combines a variety of methods to provide an effective approach to solving simple to complex organizational problems.
Participants have the opportunity to be involved in group discussions, examine a case study, and apply the solution to their own workplace. Participants will have implementation tools, forms, and additional resources to help apply the skills learned back on the job.

· Listen to Communicate
LEARNING OBJECTIVES/OUTCOMES: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have:
· Learned that communication is a two-way process.
· Learned to create and support a climate of open communication.
· Learned to develop messages that avoid complex and pompous language.
· Learned to construct clear, logically organized, concise messages in the interest of the receiver.
· Learned to understanding and manage nonverbal factors, such as voice tone, intonation and gestures, to reinforce the intent of his/her message.
· Learned the importance of active listening and the role of responding appropriately by reflecting, probing, supporting, and advising.
