WORK Experience:
37 years steel industry, metallurgist
Algoma Steel- Various positions in Quality Control, Mill Metallurgist, Senior Mill Metallurgist, Quality Assurance, ISO Auditor.
These positions covered the Strip Mill, Cold Mill, Plate Mill, Heat Treat, Steel Blanking.
Travelled extensively for technical work at customer and user factories: Canada, United States, Philippines, Taiwan as Algoma Steel’s representative.
TEACHING:
Taught full time at Sault College 1991-1992, and extensively in Adult Education at the College 1990-present.
